Two Large Asteroids Flying At High Speed Approaching Earth

Traveling at an impressive speed of 31,293 km/h, scientists are closely monitoring its trajectory. The second asteroid, 2024 YL1, is slightly smaller, measuring 38 feet—about the size of a bus. It is expected to pass Earth at a safe distance of 2,360,000 kilometers, equivalent to roughly six times the distance between Earth and the Moon. This close approach will occur at 11:33 PM IST. The asteroid is traveling at a speed of 17,221 km/h.
